The State Secondary School Antonio Navarro Santafé of Villena (Alicante, Spain) would like to contact any partner schools that may be interested in working together in an Erasmus +KA2 program, whose registration is due to finish on 30th April 2014.Our high school is currently carrying out an educational project titled “Landscape: Experience, Understanding and Transformation” ( https://www.flickr.com/people/villenaobservers/ ) in collaboration with Villena City Hall and Alicante University,; it has recently been awarded the National Prize of Educaction 2013 by the Spanish Education Department in the Environmental Management and Sustanaibility category. In this Project we are undertaking several lanscape interventions to improve the access to different school centers. It is a cross curricular and interdisciplinary project (Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts, languages, etc) which embraces different educational levels (secondary school studies, baccalaureate, and Vocational Training) and aims at studying and improving the natural surroundings (through a school vegetable garden) and the urban milieu ( by implementing proposals to improve the access to our school (security and cleaning). It is a project open to introducing and exchanging other educational experiences of citizen participation.
